Summary of Major Accomplishments for 2007

I thought that as we are going to begin our new adventure in 2008, I would list the seven major accomplishments for 2007 that I'm most proud of:

  • Married three years to my wife and partner in life.
  • Completed the U.S. accreditation process for the airline I represent. (Three years in the making!)
  • Completed the Governmental accreditation process for two new branch offices. (Four branches in two years is unheard of in the industry)
  • Graduate with my M.A. in Theological Studies.
  • Accepted into the U.S. Air Force Air Command and Staff College.
  • My appointment as Legislative Liaison/Director, Government Relations, Michigan Wing-CAP
  • My first piece of legislation (Joint Resolution) passed by the Michigan State Assembly and the Michigan Senate.

I'm hoping that this time next year, I will be able to celebrate my graduation from the Master of Strategic Intelligence program as well as my graduation from the U.S. Air Force Air Command and Staff College. Next...U.S. Air War College and silver oak leaves for my collar.

New for 2008

January is going to be a point of transition for us as a family on several fronts. Liz and I are starting our last respective terms of school in January. I start my "thesis defense" in May and should have my degree conferred late June-ish. I'm hoping to start the doctoral program in the Fall although we may postpone it a year based on the fact effective yesterday, I resigned my position as Director, Operations with my firm. I've accomplished alot in this role however being at a crossroads in life,we've opted to pursue another opportunity.

Here's to starting a new roller coaster in 08!
