It’s my addiction damnit!!

*sigh* As my reward for finishing my Seminar in MidEast Politics and Security course (it all likelihood with an A) I decided to install World of Warcraft on our PVR Media PC that my inlaws got us since my laptop was dying. So late Tuesday night I installed the CD’s and the patches to WoW and at midnight, I started playing for about 40 minutes.

Then Wednesday…my wife got home before I did (as is the case these days) and created a WoW character. I got home and pried the keyboard from her so we could go to her parents/my inlaws for dinner. While I sat and watched TV with the inlaws…what does she do?!?! She goes to the basement and gets on her brother’s PC so they could play WoW.

We came home and I decided to do some studying for 20 minutes so she could play a little.

I fall asleep on the couch and she ends up crashing in our office on the futon from…playing Wow.
Last night...I get home from the ANG base at the same time my wife gets home. I decide to "watch TV" (with my eyes closed) while she's in the office...playing WoW.

It’s just like my former love of French Onion soup. I introduced her to French Onion soup as well…

Guess how many times I’ve had French Onion since then…

*sigh*

Vacation!!!!

That's all I have to say about that...Flight leaves at 7:30 tonight and we won't be back until next Friday at 8pm. Granted I'm giving my aerospace lecture next weekend in lieu of attending the staff meeting. I'm bringing my homework to work on. But for six days...rest and relaxation...

Our plans to go to Turkey had to be postponed very last minute (I just cancelled the tickets last night) due to my mom's upcoming surgery. Other issues have taken precedence...so we opted for plan B.

"Bob, after working 80 hours in a five day stretch...what are you going to do?"

"we're going to Disneyland!!!"

Two nights at the Grand California Hotel and Three nights at Disneyland Hotel.

As a treat to Liz, we're doing the breakfast with the characters for two mornings and dinner at the Blue Bayou one night.

As my hair is quickly turning grey...I better do this vacation now before it gets worse!!! ;)
