A new post.

Hey, I figure it's been a month. The kids had a blast during Halloween. It was a tough month with Gram's (liz's grandmother) death and it looks like they are starting to recover. Yeah yeah...kids are resilent. We know that. But each kid is different. We had some bonding time on Monday, where they basically used me as a human jungle gym. I'm trying to enjoy it while it lasts...I figure I've got 3 years, maybe 4 years at best before I'm just the old guy that hands out allowances and makes the screwy rules. Since Liz had her midterms, I took the munchkins out for Halloween. The kids got tons of goodies (not to mention what my inlaws bought and didn't give away) so I figure if they consume all their candy by Christmas...that would be just too soon. We have my sister and her husband coming here for Thanksgiving since they are back in the states. So it will really be a full house (thank God we got my Mom and the kids their own house...life woud be just too crazy with that many relatives around) for the holidays.

Got some sad news yesterday that an old family friend who my stepmom has been friends with just passed away on Friday.

Two of the major annoucements I hope to make next week. I have an appointment that will drastically change things. I hate being cryptic but the people that need to know already do and once its official, I can make it public knowledge.

One annoucement we can actually make right now. We've tentatively decided on moving to either Rome,Italy or Wisconsin for Liz's Ph.D program. It's of course not official, but given her grades and what she's doing...I'm not worried.

Looking forward to going to the Valley of the Sun for Dan's wedding next weekend.
